I love my father so much. I’m not sure what I would do without him.

As I get older, the idea of him leaving this world and me behind frightens me. To the point of a self-induced anxiety attack leading to held back tears.

It makes me want to drop everything and just spend every moment I have with him. I had a friend lose his dad a few years ago. I wrote a song called “father of mine” about it. I now know that was me writing a song about how I might feel when my father is gone.

Don’t miss a moment.
